There are a few options: you can fly right into the Campbell River airport and take a airport shuttle from the airport to the ferry to Quadra. Call 1 (250) 914 1010 to pre-book a ride on the airport shuttle into Campbell River or the Quadra Island Ferry Terminal.
If you're hoping to tour around on Quadra by vehicle (because you can also do it by bike, or cab) there's always the option to rent a vehicle. The ferry is located right downtown, just off Shopper's Row at the east (the ocean end) of Alder St. It is located across from the Tyee Plaza The ferry is a short 12 minutes ride with a beautiful crossing of the Discovery Passage.
Once you arrive, you will be in Quathiaski Cove.Travel up a hill to the plaza ). From there, head north (left in front of the grocery store) on Harper Rd. You'll come to a stop sign and on your right will be a coffee shop, across the street you'll notice our elementary school, and once you turn right you'll see the gas station is behind the coffee shop.
Drive past the school (the school should be on your lefthand side), and then make a left onto West Rd. (the first left after the school), and drive along West Rd (past the RCMP station) for about 10km. Soon you will arrive in Heriot Bay.
At the Heriot Bay True Value grocery store turn right. You will now be on Heriot Bay Rd.
Travel about 1 km along Heriot Bay Rd until you reach the Otter House at 1410 Heriot Bay Rd on the left hand side. Look for the otter above the main gate.
