Quadra Island Dining Guide

Heriot Bay Inn aka the HBI

Awesome location. Recently purchased by a community cooperative, this historical hub has gotten a new injection of energy and fresh life. Regular events happen throughout the week and new music plays on Fridays in the pub. The food is generally good in the pub and a bit more upscale in the restaurant. Everyone has their favourite! With an expanded dining room (restaurant), lounge and pub, this place is quite the score for us here on Quadra.

Kameleon

"I am a serious carnivore and doubted eating here. Pays to keep an open mind -- the "not chicken" burger, joey burger and the dragon bowl w/tofu simply amazing. Kameleon now also has a BREAKFAST menu which is just as mouth-watering as the lunch and dinner items. Think lemon ricotta french toast w/ pear compote, awesome huevos rancheros and great espresso to pair it all up. The service is always fast, and the owner and management are so friendly and down to earth. Definitely recommend eating here, it will change minds and wow tongues!" Urban Spoon review Also - Free WiFi and Gluten Free friendly.

April Point Resort Restaraunt

At a sweet location overlooking Discovery Passage, the restaurant has top-notch food. There's a sushi bar and last time we were there Noelle was serving us, and she sang us a song and then another server starting playing on the piano. It's posh restaurant, Quadra-style.

Café Aroma

This café has a great location and a great vibe in Quathiaski Cove on the route from Campbell River ferry to the Cortez ferry. There's wireles access to the internet or you can use their computer. The shop has popular Eggs Benny on Sundays and Peter and Helene's Quadra-roasted coffee beans.

Lovin' Oven II

Lovely small restaurant with good home baking, fantastic breads made on site, very good evening meals, excellent pizza. Great soups and friendly atmosphere. Drop in for lunch pizza special with caesar salad. Needs a little atmosphere but the quality of the food is top notch. Try the sunflower oat bread.

The Landing Pub

It is located right by the Quadra to Campbell River ferry terminal and is a very quaint pub. Lots of classic choices with a few surprises. Service is good and the overall feel of the pub is friendly. Have a cold one on their deck over looking the Cove " No Bad Days Here"

Terry's Take Out

Fast Food on Cramer Rd. A short walk from the Cortes Island ferry lineup in Heriot Bay on Quadra Island. I love the Cheeseburger deluxe as it's on a fresh bakery bun and the cheese is melted and quite delicious. Ice Cream cones and other cold treats! Terry runs her own business. She's open daily and is usually open year round.

Tsa-Kwa-Luten Lodge

Tsa-Kwa-Luten has one of the more spectacular views on the island and an ambience to match. With a First Nations heritage, the salmon is a recommended choice here. Open and in full swing through the spring and summer, it's closed in the winter except for private functions.
